Company Synopsis

Borman Specialty Materials is the largest producer of Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide (EMD) in North America. Borman currently produces 25,000 Metric tons of manganese-based cathode material each year, including but not limited to, EMD, Lithiated EMD (Li-EMD), Lithium Manganese Oxide (LMO), Lithium Manganese Nickel Oxide (LMNO) and Manganese Sulfate. Borman's research and development team is working on Cobalt-free, high voltage cathode materials. Borman holds several patents for the production of ultra-pure LMO and LMNO.

Borman has been a business landmark in Southern Nevada for many decades as a descendant of the World War II US government-built magnesium manufacturing plant. At Borman, we remain dedicated to the production of energy driven chemicals.
