Company Synopsis

Bitrode Corporation, a Sovema Company, provides full lines of networked systems for production charging and testing as well as laboratory test systems for materials and battery research. Systems are custom configured for many power storage applications – HEV battery systems, automotive and industrial power storage and consumer batteries in multiple chemistries and designs. A wide range of performance specifications are available for use with materials, cells, modules and packs. Circuit control and data acquisition/management is handled over an expandable high-performance network, controlled by Bitrode’s VisuaLCN suite of software tools.

Since 1957, Bitrode has continually invested in engineering and manufacturing infrastructure, becoming a single source design and build provider for production charging and laboratory testing needs. Technical sales and engineering design staff offer application specific consultation to develop charging systems, test instruments, interface and network control; integrated into customers’ production enterprise. Bitrode maintains full manufacturing facilities to ensure this equipment is built with superior quality, meets all requirements and operates reliably.

Bitrode adds value to customers’ investment in battery test systems with superior service and support. Support staff is available to see that startup is smooth and that systems receive the maintenance and service required, keeping them running reliably for years.
